There will undoubtedly be some bugs. Please be as helpful as possible when reporting bugs by including as much information as you can. And if you are in the know, provide helpful solutions :D

Known Bugs
  • Firewood cut directly from the tree will not light. It must be picked up and dropped elsewhere. This is due to a placeable>item script. This script shows a block of wood on the ground instead of the default bag, however when you pick it up it changes to a normal item in your inventory.
  • Horses return blank combat messages. I am unsure why as they work on local servers and are built into 1.69 afaik. Check the FAQ for explanation.

Misconceptions
  • Voicesets [This is caused by the override folder used by GWP. Either rename the folder or choose the first desired voiceset listed, not the repeated second listing.]

A couple of very minor things I noticed on my first trip.

1. In the coversation with the newspaper vendor instead of a number value for the price of the newpaper I see <unrecognised token>

2. This isn't really a bug, but the sign above the scribe in traders valley says "tailor"

Not sure if it was deliberate or not, but the transition from Caldera foundations into the resting area doesn't seem to work. It appears you're being blocked from reaching the transition area.

Found a couple of areas like that. One coming back up from the Fire Ants and one from the Leeches (will try to remember which zones). It seemed that I couldn't use the 'doorway' to port to the next zone. I did have beasties chasing me - is it a non-combat only use?

I was reading in the paper today about this dwarf that got pick pocketed. How could anyone stoop so low?

nope - it was just due to a lack of discipline when changing the area's around.

Its a bit late, and I'm sure you've figured this out already, but the only way out is to go forward. There is an exit to the main town in the final room where the boss beatle is (His name is Ringo :party: ).

Yeah

I am currently playing torchlight and stealing some good ideas. I really like how they have done weapons in torchlight, keeps them relelvant.

Will get back into the toolset once work ends (next tuesday)

Death XP bug is back. Died twice this morning (second time I swear there were 2x as many ants in the same zone the second time around) and got stung twice each death for XP loss.

Also, the transition from the ants back to Caldera leave you on top of a tower with no way down. Stucksville.

And one more - or maybe i'm just an idiot. But I can't get back out of the leeches. The exit back to the cellar is in a spot I can't reach. I can click on it but can't get close enough to "use" it. Stuck in the leeches areas.
