 Changing spells in NWN 2
Hallo, I have a question. Is it possible to change the damage a spell in NWN 2 does? I mean specificly the Eldritch Blast the warlocks have. I'm not all that happy about its progression in damage and thus I'd like to change it. So for example if I wish it to do 1d8 in stead of 1d6, is there a way to manage this? And if so, how?
Thanks for any reply.

Re: Changing spells in NWN 2
I guess you would need to replace the spell script file in the module you are playing. Or perhaps there may be a .2da override (spells.2da?) you can do to get this affect if playing singleplayer.

Re: Changing spells in NWN 2
yes, I play a single player. The "spells.2da" would not help as it lists many things, butnot the damage done by a spell. So I fear it will have to be the scripts. But how to get to them?

I'm going by memory here so I could be wrong. Try opening the module with the toolset, use the script editor and open campaign resources. Then find the script name (you'll have to google or guess this), edit it, save it, save the module. Then you would need to start a new game on that module, a savegame won't work.
